At L3 Catalyst Group we disrupt inequity by building bridges, requiring us to learn, lead, and liberate. By growing equity leadership capacity and nourishing strong teams, we can see true change. We are excited to share themes and highlights from our clients’ learning, leadership, and liberation work.
Clients are working on:
- Updating mission, vision, and values with embedded and aligned equity and inclusion commitments.
- Developing board capacity to lead for equity.
- Using the DiSC to grow staff culture by learning about themselves and each other's motivations.
Recently, we kicked off a co-facilitated diversity, equity, and inclusion series with law enforcement officers and victim/survivor advocates. Feedback from participants includes the following:
- I loved loved loved this training. Our facilitators did an incredible job creating and explaining brave spaces.
- I felt more connected to my team, and it was great to dive deeper with them.
- Thank you for modeling engagement with someone who doesn’t see things the same way, someone who is curious but firm. Having that modeled was transformational!
- I have been to many DE&I trainings, and this one felt different because it was brave. It was a breath of fresh air and a new perspective! THANK YOU!
The power of organizational guiding principles: Leaders often are working to update their Strategic Framework and Operational Plans rooted in equity and inclusion. Guiding Principles (also called values or organizational norms) are critical to living out organizational mission and vision. It was such an honor to facilitate the Grand Rapids Pride Center (GRPC) commitment to specifying their Guiding Principles to live out their updated organizational mission and vision. Check out their amazing work!
